All-State Choir
2012-13 Recommended Recordings

Here is a list of online audio and video recordings for the 2012-13 All-State Choir Literature. It can be helpful for directors and students to hear a complete performance of a piece as they learn it, but be advised that such things as tempi, phrasing, articulation, and other musical decisions will be up to our District level conductors, and ultimately to Dr. Copley for the All-State Choir. The official KMEA Audition CD will be available at the KCDA Summer Convention and directors and students should use this CD to prepare for the first three pieces for the auditions.

Directions for accessing mp3 practice files for the non-audition selections have been placed inside the All-State Manager under the Tools tab.

To Me, Music Is...
...everything. I use music to pray and worship the Lord. I love music because it expresses ones' self.
