2010 KMEA In-Service Workshop Schedule

This easy-to-use utility allows you to create YOUR SCHEDULE for the In-Service Workshop.

Select the day for which you want to create your customized schedule. You will then be given a matrix of events for that day. The directions at the top of each schedule page explain how to customize your printed schedule.

For printing, we recommend using landscape format for best results, however portrait format works as well.

To navigate to other days of the ISW, use the links located at the top and bottom of each schedule page.

As is the nature of a major event such as ISW, there are usually modifications made to the schedule due to any number of circumstances. We strive to keep this online schedule as current as possible. Please refer to the "Update" located in the upper-right corner of each schedule screen and at the top of this screen. Changes which occur after February 1 are not guaranteed to be included in the printed conference pamphlet.

MENC National Standards
To assist music educators in Kansas, the clinics and performances at the KMEA In-Service Workshop (ISW) will be listed with applicable music content standards. The following is a list of the State of Kansas and the MENC National Music Content Standards.
  1. Singing, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music.
  2. Performing on instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music.
  3. Improvising melodies, variations, and accompaniments.
  4. Composing and arranging music within specified guidelines.
  5. Reading and notating music.
  6. Listening to, analyzing, and describing music.
  7. Evaluating music and music performances.
  8. Understanding relationships between music, the other arts, and disciplines outside the arts.
  9. Understanding music in relation to history and culture.
