Each year, KMEA hosts an In-Service Workshop at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita. At this important annual event, speakers, performers, and vendors gather together to represent the best of music education throughout the state.

ISW Registration
Save $10 by pre-registering for the In-Service Workshop and have your convention badge mailed to you ahead of time. Postmark deadline for early pre-registration is February 14, 2015, for active teachers. Those needing assistance with ISW registration or NAfME membership renewal may stop to visit with us in the connecting lobby at Century II during the conference. KMEA does not accept credit cards at the workshop.

New Teacher Luncheon
This free luncheon at ISW is intended for music teachers who are new to the profession this year. Deadline to register is Feb. 14, 2015.

Exhibitors are invited to reserve their booth space for the 2015 In-Service Workshop. Available payment options include check or credit card. Secure your spot early by paying online via PayPal. We encourage everyone to support the exhibitors at the In-Service Workshop. Without their participation, the ISW simply would not exist.

Take a moment to preview the clinics which will be presented at the upcoming In-Service Workshop.
You must call to get the KMEA rates. Do not book through their websites unless a specific booking link is displayed. Be sure to ask for the KMEA rate.

To Me, Music Is...
...freedom. Freedom to express myself...freedom to enjoy myself. It means freedom to create something beautiful out of a bunch of hot air, wood, and metal. Sometimes it even means the freedom to be silly, but when performance time rolls around and all ears are on us, music means beauty and hard work.
