Each year, KMEA hosts an In-Service Workshop at Century II in Wichita. At this important annual event, speakers, performers, and vendors gather together to represent the best of music education throughout the state.

Clinic Proposals
KMEA is soliciting proposals for clinics at the In-Service Workshop. Deadline for submitting proposals is October 1.

President's Concert
Featured on Thursday night, the East Hill Singers, a men’s chorus of inmates from Lansing Correctional Facility and volunteer singers from the Kansas City area, put on an extraordinary and moving performance. At the end of the concert, the Kansas Music Educators Association recognized East Hill Singers director Elvera Voth with a Lifetime Achievement award, which was presented by KMEA President Jean Ney.
